Cast Of ArtsNashoba’s “Anne Of Green Gables”

ArtsNashoba is please to introduce the cast of its Spring 2017 Musical Production, “Anne of Green Gables,” welcoming kids from Ayer, Dunstable, Groton, Littleton, Lunenburg, Pepperell, Shirley and Tyngsboro!  “Anne of Green Gables” runs March 30 thru April 1 at the Richardson-Mees Performing Arts Center at Lawrence Academy, Groton.  For more information, visit www.artsnashoba.org.

Featured in this cast of 24 young people are Andrew Welton (Ayer),Maggie Pestana, Meagan Webber, Rachel Young and Julia Thompson (Dunstable); Sammie Bennett, Ella Dickinson, Hayley Cahill, Anna Santoro, Sofia Santoro, Daniel Palmer and Emily Hanson (Groton),P.J. Zaferacopoulos (Littleton), Ellie Frank (Lunenburg); Eva Helfter, Greta Helfter, Lacey Gardner, Katie Poirier, Hailey Daniels, Olivia Haskins, Mallory Graves and Lizzy Holsinger (Pepperell); Martina Smyth (Shirley) and Emily Caissie (Tyngsboro).

Directed Bonnie Marchesani with music direction by Diane Guenard, “Anne of Green Gables” is the classic tale of an orphan girl, Anne, who rises from destitution to happiness in the farm country entirely by virtue of her pluck and personality. Anne’s adventures at Green Gables, the farm owned by her new caretakers, are both comical and heartwarming. Originating in Canada, the play left capacity audiences there to journey to London, where it opened to acclaim. The original Anne of Green Gables novel is the first in a prized series by writer L.M. Montgomery.

Performances of “Anne of Green Gables” run March 30 (Autism/Special Needs 6pm performance); March 31, 7pm; April 1, 2pm and 7pm at the Richardson-Mees Performing Arts Center at Lawrence Academy, Groton. Tickets are $10 for adults; $8 for students and seniors.
