The Sudbury Villagers Club will meet Thursday, February 2nd, at Sudbury’s Goodnow Library’s Community Room at 10:00 am which is a NEW TIME. We’re delighted to have Ed Gagne, singer, song writer and actor, providing our entertainment. His staff reports….
“What a privilege to work with an artist who cares so deeply about his music. Ed Gagné has a passion for what he does and it shows!”
Ed Gagné’s talent began attracting attention at various venues at an early age. He attended the New England Conservatory of Music and studied at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts (New York) and the Film Academy (New York). Ed now performs in venues nationally and internationally. He works in all mediums of entertainment …… as a recording artist, on-stage, television, film, print, TV commercials, modeling and as a spokesperson for national and international brands.
-MarThe plan for the rest of the Villagers year, which is coming up fast in June, features great speakers and the meetings which are on the first Thursday of each month are held at the Goodnow Library’s Community Room with the exception of April’s meeting which will be at the Hosmer House. The club also sponsors various functions, such as, a Holiday Luncheon in December and an Annual Spring High Tea; a Spring Luncheon usually concludes the social year in May.
In addition to all that, our earlier activities included a Cruise on the Sudbury River, a Tour of the Fire Academy in Stow and also of the World War II Museum in Framingham, as well as, a tour Wellesley College’s Greenhouse along with a tour of the Culinary Arts Museum at Johnson & Wales University in Providence RI. Quite an ambitious schedule but it’s all pick and choose – something for everyone!
The monthly meetings are open to the public and we especially invite women who would like to know more about our club to join us to learn about our activities by attending this meeting. The meetings are held at the Goodnow Library which is located at 21 Concord Road, just off the Boston Post Road (US Rte #20) near Sudbury’s business center with ample parking in the rear.
